Praise for HARDBALL:

Hardball is one of those books that will suck you in and won’t let you go until you devour every last, juicy bite.”

They call Dash Wallace the Diamond King.
He’s the hottest commodity in baseball and in the bedroom.
When he runs the bases, every woman’s eyes are glued to his stunning body and a smile that puts the night lights to shame.
I’m no queen. I’m a regular girl with a regular job. I just watch him on TV and from the bleachers, season after season.
Girls like me grab a guy like that one in a million times.
My number just came up, and he is as spectacular in bed as he is on the field.
But there’s not a woman in the world who can distract Dash Wallace from the game. Not for a moment. Not even me.
Until the night I do. And everything changes.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Who doesn’t love baseball? Honestly, ME. However, I found myself absobloodylutely loving this book!
As all of CD Reiss’s books, this story is beautifully and flawlessly well-written. Full of every emotion in existence, but more than anything, it kept me smiling the whole time. Is entertaining and intriguing. A page turning romance at its best, full of laughs, adventure, baseball, angst, tears, romance, and of course some drama.
Dash is a smooth but private individual, superstitious, caring, and determined. He’s never giving interviews, and his dating non-committal habits same as brushing his teeth (my personal opinion). However, his love, passion and talent for baseball where unquestionable.
Vivian Foster is sweet, caring, but feisty; and family is very important to her. She’s a school librarian, a regular girl next door, just trying to move on after a nasty relationship. just a regular girl on a field trip with a class of underprivileged kids when she encounters the legend.
Dash and Vivian’s first encounter is during a field trip of underprivileged kids she’s supervising, and their journey from that moment on, is nothing but dislike, fun, kindness, lust, sizzling hot and adventurous moments, brewing romance, and much, much more.
Hardball, is told from dual POV and something I really love and enjoy from a great story as this one. All the characters are likeable, believable and memorable. They had an important role, regardless of how small it was.
CD Reiss is so talented, that she’s capable of weaving a story so enthralling, captivating, intriguing, and entertaining in any/or multiple genres, and still manage to keep readers unable to put theirs books down.
Overall, this was an amazing story, a very easy read with all the romantic parts that make it a great book, which I highly recommend.
ARC courtesy of the Author in exchange for my honest review. However, as always I did purchased my own copy.
About the Author:
CD Reiss is a USA Today bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
